Badri Narayan is a Social Historian and Cultural Anthropologist and currently Director and Professor at the G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad.

Dr. Govinda Chandra Rath obtained his Ph.D. (Sociology) from Calcutta University.

Dr. K. N. Bhatt is Professor of Economics at G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj. He is a professional Researcher in Social Sciences with specialization in Ecological Economics, Natural Resource Management, Environment and Development, Disaster Management, Primary Education, Literacy, Child Labour, Panchayati Raj, Decentralization, Agriculture, Research MethodsPRA/RRA and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Dr. Kunal Keshri attained his Masters Degree in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences (Deemed to be University), Mumbai.

Dr. Archana Singh is Associate Professor at G B Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad. After completion of her Ph.D. in Philosophy, she has done her post-doctoral project entitled “Eco-feminism: A War Against Survival of the Fittest” under the aegis of Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi. Her area of interest is Caste Studies, Gender studies and Cultural Studies. Presently, she is working on contemporary caste/gender issues among Dalits, tribes and minorities, especially the method that these women are using to resist subjection hidden in Caste-class-gender dynamics. She is a Gender trainer. She is the coordinator of the Museum of Ethnography, Kumbh Study Centre and Dalit Resource Centre (DRC) at GB Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad.

Dr. Chandraiah Gopani is an Associate Professor in G.B.Pant Social Science Institute. He obtained his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in the discipline of Political Science from University of Hyderabad. His areas of research interest; critical theory, Caste, Dalit Studies, Intellectual Traditions, Literature, Youth, Education, Gender and Political economy of Development etc. His research work documents and critically analyse the caste, class, gender, regional dynamics and complexities of the domination and subaltern resistance. Gopani has been doing extensive filed work in South India in general and Telugu region in specific. He regularly contributes to the reputed academic Journals and popular magazines, newspapers and online platforms both in English and Telugu.

Dr. Manik Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute. He completed his MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

Ambuj Sharma is working as an Assistant Professor in the area of Management in G.B. Pant Social Science Institute. Before joining GBPSSI, he was working with MIT ADT University and Symbiosis Skills and Professional University.

Dr. Kamei Samson obtained his M.A. (Social Work) degree and Ph.D. degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

Dr. Niharika Tiwari did her BA (Hons., Political Science) and M.A. (Pol. Sc.) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), M . Phil and Ph.D. from Centre for South Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University((JNU) New Delhi.

Dr. Md. Juel Rana is currently working as an assistant professor at the G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Earlier he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea University, Seoul, South Korea for a project entitled “India Policy Insights”.

Dr. Subhash Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Development Economics in G. B. Pant Social Science Institute, Prayagraj. He has done his graduation from Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi. He attained his Master’s degree M. A. in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). He obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D. degree from Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP), School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Dr. Puja Pal is an Assistant Professor at G.B Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad. She attainted her bachelor’s degree i.e. B.A.(Honors) Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She completed her Masters in Economics, MPhil and PhD from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Dr Samanta Sahu is Associate Professor in the G B Pant Social Science Institute (University of Allahabad), Prayagraj. Prior to the present assignment, he was associated with the Dept. of Political Science, Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Arunachal Pradesh; the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad; NIRD&PR, Hyderabad; and the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad in different capacities.
