Dr. Kunal Keshri attained his Masters Degree in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences (Deemed to be University), Mumbai. His research areas include migration and development, urbanization, environment, population geography, medical geography, public health, maternal and child health and population ageing. He has published a book entitled “Rural-urban Migration and Child Survival in India: An NFHS-3 Based Study” and many research papers in reputed international and national journals. He is a Life member of National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI), Indian Association for the Study of Population (IASP) and Indian Association of Social Science and Health (IASSH). He is a registered collaborator from India in the Project “International Migration Around the Globe (IMAGE)” recognized by United Nations Development Program and World Bank and Funded by Queensland Centre for Population Research, The University of Queensland, Queensland, Australia.
